i am just trying to replace what i have and you are right i will just use a mil spec tube and i already put a thicker pad on the buttstock so i'll be good to go thank you all for your support

thank you all for making me feel right at home and thank you for the replies.if i order an aramalite or vltor i think they come in at 7 3/4" so i guess i will have to take one of the suggestions or come up with my own to take up the 3/4" difference.

hello all new to the forum.i have a dpms g2 moe and i am looking for a 7 3/4" buffer tube but it needs to measure 7"s on the inside.the reason is i have a ctr stock for mil spec and the dpms tube is commercial and it measures 7 3/4 total lenght and 7 inches on the inside. it use a 2 1/2" buffer is why it needs to be 7 inches on the inside.thank you all for your advice in advance
