  1. Not yet, hoping to get out to the range tomorrow to sight in the scope. I will update on my return.
  2. Updated to Armalite gas tube
  3. Finally got the new gas tube. Went from this:
  4. Yup^^^^^?
  5. What he said^^^^^^?
  6. The Armalite Carbine. It gives me 5/16" more which should put me where I want to be.
  7. Went to the range this morning. Put 40 rounds through it without a problem. Ejected @3 o'clock into a nice group 8 feet away. Locked back on the empty mag. Need to go back and dial in my scope. I am very happy! i did go ahead and order the longer Armalite gas tube.
  8. Lubed everything but the buffer and spring! Thanks for the reminder!
  9. Just finished my first 308 AR Fab-Pro upper and lower Anderson 20" barrel UTG hand guard/rail KAK BCG Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 scope. looking forward to trying it out tomorrow at the range. Jerry
  10. I'll try it at the range tomorrow and post results. Thank you all!
  11. This is what I was thinking it should look like.
  12. Mines like this^^^^^^
  13. Just finished my first .308 AR assembly. 20" barrel, midlength gas block. I purchased a DPMS 308 "compatible" gas tube. It just doesn't look long enough. It just clears the notch in the upper. It's installed right now but I'm not too sure about shooting it tomorrow. How far should it protrude into the Notched area (next to the charging handle slot)? I'm used to the tube extending half way into the notched area on an AR15. The 308 notch is at least twice the size of the AR15. Any recommendations for the "correct tube"? Thanks for any suggestions. Jerry
