  1. That is a great price. Last year, the stripped lowers were going about $250.00 alone. RM
  2. I guess it matters is what do you plan to do with it. Baaderman1 says he wants a “.308 TO SHOOT AT THE RANGE FOR FUN.” I hope I do not get flamed with this, but I have seen a lot of good review posts about the PSA Gen 2 guns in .308 and the go for $699.99 on sale and I might chance it. (But looking at the Gen 1 guns, they have a LOT of issues and LOT of bad reviews.) Now if MY life were on the line or if I were competition shooting, or if price were no object, that would be a different story. But at the day, everything breaks anyhow.
  3. Washguy, I went a Fulton Armory 16” Barrel, .308 Hybrid Weight, 1X10, Chrome Lined, Threaded, March Quality, Criterion with a JBEB-308 JB Enhanced Bolt Assembly and asked Fulton to match the barrel to the bolt. They say the barrel will work both .308 and NATO spec ammo.
  4. If I were looking for a Ar10 with the old budget in mind, I would look at the PSA Second Gen PA10 Rifle. Now, I went with a hybrid so it will use both NATO and .308 ammo but that is just me. I have a lot of reviews about the PSA AR10 and it seems the first gen stuff had issues but it seems the second gen stuff works at least better, if not OK and they say works with Magpul mags. I have reports of minute accuracy with their barrels. NOT trying to shill PSA.
