Update: tried the DPMS factory mags and the bolt will stay open after the last round is fired. Honestly, I liked the P-Mags so I just went and bought a few and never tried the DPMS mags. Looks like I have my answer. I have a 10 and 20 round DPMS mag and will probably get more unless y'all recommend the Lancer mags. Thank you for helping me!

Thank you all for the replies. I am running factory Federal 168 Match ammunition. I will try the factory DPMS mag and see if it help. I cannot manually hold the bolt open. The round count is about 90 at this juncture. I'd rather not send it to DPMS as I have replaced the trigger and changed the ambi safety to a single lever. The ambi safety bothered my trigger hand. Hello, Newbie here. I've had my G2 Hunter for a few months. Shoots great, loves P-Mags, not one FTF. My question is this. Is the BCG supposed to stay open when the last round is fired like my AR-15s? Mine stays closed after the last round has been fired. I asked a buddy who builds AR-15s and he told me that this particular gun is built this way. Seems odd to me. I hope that my first post is not a stupid question. Thanks in advance.
