Any advice on what order pieces to the puzzle should be purchased? Does it really even matter?

I wanna go collapsible for better mobility while hunting. Also ive decided on a barrel. I'm going with the Faxon 16", Medium Tapered, .308 WIN, Mid-Length, 416-R Stainless QPQ

As I do my research, I'm realizing my budget is going to have to be bigger than I had originally planned. I want to use aero upper and lower, a D.wilson BCG. The barrel is still a question though. Something 16" with mid-length or rifle gas tube. Any suggestions. I want to use this as a deer riffle.

Hey y'all. I'm looking to build a 308 on the AR platform. This will be my first build. I like the helpful advice I've seen others getting and I hope to get some expertise from the seasoned builders here. This will be a budget build.
