Thank you! its the triangular hand guards which is the most important facet for me. Reminds me of my childhood for some reason. The he people at armalite were pretty much saying it would be very difficult to put it together.

Wow, its not THAT serious. Sounds like you really know your stuff. I'm just fixated on those triangular hand guards, the carry handle, and the front sights. The rest I would like to incorporate some modern ar components. Thank you very much for your help!
