Extractor is definately holding on to cartridge too long. I can use charge handle rapidly and shells eject perfectly.Just when I try to shoot using trigger the shells bind up to the point of being bent. It will not shoot multiple shots. It will bind as second shell tries to go into chamber and first shell is slow to extract. Causing the jamb.Hope this helps. Thanks

Nearly finished with DPMS .308 build. Had several issues with this build. ( My first ever.) Now another issue; When rapid firing, shells get jammed up-stuck. Almost as if second shell is trying to get into barrel before 1st round has time to eject. Both shells wind up being impinged by BCG and second ( live ) shell is bent when I fish it out. Don't want it going off in my face!! I have used mags from two different manufacturers. Both seem to be doing their job. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I just "finished" my first build. DPMS LR .308. Unfortunately, when I went to shoot it,I had a serious issue. 1st. I shot several rounds one shot at a time.No problem. 2nd. I began to rapid fire. After about 6 shots the rifle jammed with one round stuck half way into the chamber being held solid by the bolt carrier group. Wound up taking rifle apart and found that the Buffer Retainer and Buffer Retainer Spring had jumped out of their original position. The Retainer was jammed between barrel and Bolt Carrier Group. Retainer was bent and scuffed.The Retainer Spring was bent and twisted and was laying on top of the trigger assembly. I have ordered new Buffer and Spring. My question is WHAT WENT WRONG and HOW DO I FIX IT. I would appreciate any help/advice. Thanks
