  1. Read that more than once, of course after I bought the barrel. May just write it off as a paid lesson, buy some better stuff next go around
  2. Care to elaborate?
  3. Update: Replaced every part that could be considered culprit, the last being a JP extractor, same results. On a whim I checked headspace, closes fully on both go and no go gauges. So obviously thats bad, sent an email to Red X Arms where I bought it from telling them my problem, hopefully they stand by their product. Did a few google searches for reviews on that company, looks like other have had the same challenges as me. I like the look of the barrel, and haven't found a suitable replacement if I need to go that route. Suggestions?
  4. Update: Swapped out the gas block to and adjustable one, turns out I did not have a .025 gap at the barrel shoulder on the last gas block according to the instructions, feel like that would be a critical step? At the range, adjusted the gas low enough to cycle the round, now the spent cases eject forward to about the 2 o'clock position. I did lube it thoroughly as directed in your picture of that critter covered in lube. I did a double tap a few times for good measure and it did a double feed on me as it did in the video Whats next? Heavier buffer?
  5. I read how that could be possible, and the benefits of having a adjustable gas block, any takers? Looks about 90 bux, if their claims are true it would be nice to have one regardless As far as ejector springs and different extractor claws, I'll try the cheaper route before buying a new gas block. Pardon the ignorance, I've been out of the AR world for a while, do AR15 ejector springs fit in the AR10 bolt? The usual places only have AR15 bolt parts
  6. Years later, I finally finished my AR-10. I attached a youtube link of it being fired in slo-mo to help show you what its doing. All specs are listed in the description. Not really sure what this thing is doing, looks like the extractor can't get a good grip on the case? When it tries to load a new round, it collides with the spent case and bends the new round going in. Let me know what you all think
