Yep! i see they finally re-stocked. I spoke with Armalite this afternoon they seem to hint they have stripped uppers but i might have to call in and place the order through them. Worst case scenario i can return the barrel and whatever i bought from them and use is as credit towards a complete upper. I will see what they say and hopefully have some good news. I will keep you updated.

Ok great thank you very much gentlemen for all of your input. Update: Returned the Novske upper a day or so ago I'm awaiting a refund from them. Bottom line: I think the general concensus is I should order an Armalite AR10A upper to match. Is there any turn around time for when they will be re stocked? Is there another website that has this? All I would need is a bolt carrier group, upper receiver and hand guard and I'd be set. I've checked out different sites is there one you guys specifically recommend?? Thanks in advance

This is my first post on here so i apologize if it's in the wrong section. A little background: I am building an AR10 308 rifle and i have searched far and wide (google, local gun shops, Noveske customer assistance) and can't seem to get a straight answer. This is my 1st rifle build and frankly i should not have started with an AR10. Whenever i call either Armalite or another manufacturer i get the "well we recommend using our parts", which wouldn't be a problem if Armalite ever bothered to re-stock their online store. I also know this topic has been beaten to the ground over and over again so i apologize if i am asking the same questions that have been answered 100 times. WIth that being said.. What i have: Chainsaw Noveske Stripped N6 Upper Receiver *Armalite Compatible* AR10A lower (Accepts non proprietary mags) MY questions are: 1.) Are these receivers compatible (I know there's a DPMS and Armalite patterns). Now the upper DOES "fit" the lower (angled back, takedown pin as well as the pivot pin look like they would fit and line up) but its gets muddy because i have heard there is also a high and low profile for both the DPMS and Armalite patterns. 2.) IF they are not compatible (Novske rep. said that this was for the B style rifle) what can i do to make it compatible? ( i was told a small piece of the upper would need to be machined off to work with the A style lower). 3.) What manufacturers are known to work with the AR10A lower? (I want something close as possible to an Armalite upper fit) 4.) I was told by the Novske rep. that the AR10A lower WILL accept a DPMS upper. IF this is true, what is the profile? (high or low) Is there any manufacturers that do the DPMS pattern which will fit flush on my lower? 5.) I bought a 16" barrel from Armalite for the AR10, will there be any issues with fitment with the AR10A lower using the noveske upper? Any issues with the handguard? WIll it accept a free-floating handguard? Any issues with the top profile lining up? 6.) When it says "will accept 3rd party mags", does that mean ANY manufacturer's magazines built for the AR10? If not, which ones will work for the AR10A? Sorry about the length. Please feel free to share any relevant information on this topic, my knowledge is limited so any help is greatly appreciated.
