  1. ggI have a .308 carbine "receiver extension" my question really was if the gas system has to be the same buffer system which i believe I got the first answer from Blue109 which he stated it does not matter. However do you possibly have a different view on things
  2. Hello all I just recently got into building ARs as a hobby I recently built and completed a successful AR 15 build which I am proud of. So now I have the itch and want to build another I'm looking forward to being in contact with everyone and I thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge with me to help future builds
  3. Ok thanks for the info and your time much appreciated also would a 18inch mid work as well
  4. Ok so if I went with a mid length I shouldn't have any issues with it not firing properly or ejecting as long as everything else is functional, just don't want to screw this up I already built An AR 15 with no problems, just concerned because AR10 is a whole new beast and I'm not that familiar with it yet
  5. So I purchased from Aero Precision their .308 carbine buffer system (Buffer tube, Buffer, Spring) My question is. How do I go about choosing a gas system for the .308 carbine length buffer system when it comes time to purchase a barrel? I have not seen any carbine length 16 inch barrels anywhere online, so would a 18 inch mid length gas system work with the buffer system I have? Please help because my build is at a stand still now.
