  1. Thanks for the response!
  2. Has anyone found a low profile style picatinny rail clamp that could be used to keep the upper receiver and handguard lined up? My LMT doesn't have this problem nor does my POF, however my DPMS does.
  3. A guy mentioned to me that the magazine deck on a AR10 was out of spec. What the heck is considered the magazine deck? Top of the receiver?
  4. Has anyone ever heard of Tactical Superiority out of Florida? They made DPMS pattern lowers.
  5. My project has been sitting for awhile between work and other things. The colt receiver adapter bushings were too big for the DMPS upper receiver holes. I didn't want to mess up the lower receiver and plan on getting a different upper receiver later on anyways.. I took the plunge and drilled the front upper receiver hole out with a 5/16" drill bit half way from both sided. The bushing slide in nicely. The upper receiver is tight to the lower receiver with no slop.
  6. If anyone is wanting to know how to mate the larger hole DPMS upper with the small hole AR lower take down pins on the POF receiver, the solution looks like it can be solved with a couple of "Colt Receiver Adapter Offset Bushing". For the younger guys Colt AR-15s use to have two different size pivot pins. If you look how the upper mates with the lower you can see that the holes appear slightly offset. I found some online for $3.50 a piece which is pretty cheap. When I get hem in I will let everyone know how well they work. Hopefully, this will help the guys who bought stripped POF lowers.
  7. I have been an .308 shooter owner for quite awhile. I have a KAC SR-25, LMT MWS .308 and recently picked up a POF P308 lower with DPMS upper. I am out in Texas.
  8. Thank you guys for all of the help. I saw a picture of a earlier Fulton Armory side charger on the web, but couldn't find any markings. I bought the upper and a stripped POF P308 lower at a gunshow this weekend for $200. Didn't need another one but the price was right. I kind of just stumbled into this forum as I am a .308 AR shooter. I have a KAC SR-25 older match rifle, and a LMT MWS .308. My younger son has one of the DPMS Gen II rifles.
  9. You're right pictures speak a thousand words. Thank you!
  10. I recently got a AR10 DPMS pattern, which is side charged. The only identification markings that I could find on it is a large N on the bottom rear take down. If anyone knows the brand please let me know.
