What a great forum!! Been researching parts for a build and this will be a 300 yard and less rifle(at least for a while). So here goes a rough major parts list and let me know what y'all think. I am starting to order parts this weekend. ATX Armory receiver set Wilson Combat barrel(14.7 p&w or 16)and BCG SLR adj gas block and handguard trigger elftmann or WC TTU ubr stock and jp SCS Not too familiar with forums, but if this is in the wrong place, let me know and I'll move it. Anyone have any experience with these barrels. Have not heard to many reviews. Was thinking of going with a 14.7 pinned and welded or 16 inch. Both are mid length gas. Longest range would be 350 to 400 yards, so I'm aware it will not be a long range set up.

Yeah, just got the daughter off to college, and after years of her playing travel softball, thought I might save up some money. But just got into reloading also, so that idea's not working out so well.??. Oh well, should be a fun time!

Sorry I can't be much help as I'm just starting a 308 build, but was wondering how you liked the WC Q Comp. does it help with muzzle climb or just act as a flash hider. Haven't seen or heard any real life reviews.
