  1. Yeah I plan on going to a 20 inch barrel and I just wanna be sure there won't be issues. I appreciate the help!
  2. So if the headspace is off, could it be corrected with the existing bolt or would another one have to be purchased?
  3. I keep getting different answers on what I would need to do to swap the factory barrel with a different one. I currently have an 18 inch barrel on it. Let's say I want to put a 20 inch barrel.. What needs to be done? I keep hearing that the bolt needs to be bought from the same company, I've heard it's fine to just change the barrel, it's all very confusing!
  4. Hey all! I made one of these before but i cant seem to find it anywhere which was probably just to old of a post or something, no idea. I live here in Texas, just outside of Fort Hood, i have one kid, married and im 30 years old. Been hunting since i was a kid in Alaska as well as here in Texas since 2000. I've been back and forth on which AR platform was right for me and what i wanted to do with it. I decided on the 308 AR (Yes, i know i didn't say AR10..i believe the AR10 is reserved solely for Armalite since they are the ones who made it) due to its sheer power and what i wanted to hunt/could hunt here in Texas. I currently own the PA10 from palmetto state armory but want to move in to something more stout like RRA or a more well known brand of 308 AR. so far i've learned alot from since i first joined in January 2017 (Previous account) Hope to meet yall soon!
  5. i dont have an attitude in the slightest. i asked a question and was told "already been talked about, dont ask anything cause you didnt post an intro" i cant find the old intro and i wasnt banned as i just switched the email off the old account and made a new one today.
  6. oh i can accept folks trying to help me. ill dig up my old username here in a few..its a forum, not a membership to your local gym. people come and go as they please when they need info or if they just want ideas for their current AR. I did my own research prior to asking and was coming up with some folks saying the trigger couldnt be changed without modifying a certain aspect of it..etc. you seem to find those folks who really didn't want to help in a forum setting, just like to run around and scream "use the search function". If everyone realistically did that, it wouldnt be a forum would it? just an encyclopedia..no human involvement. i find it a little weird that you need "proof" as to a new member intro. if i cant find my old one, ill just make a new one to please those who just HAVE TO HAVE an introduction before someone asks a question. thank you to those who did answer my question!
  7. actaully, i've been here but i had to change emails and make a new account due to an issue with outlook email. So if you're not gonna answer the question i posted, move along.
  8. i had heard the triggers and a bunch of other stuff was proprietary so it was a pain trying to find anything to fit it. the more i research and ask questions, the more im finding that not to be true.
  9. So i just picked up a PA10 and i want to upgrade the trigger, maybe the barrel down the road, Low profile gas block..etc. Which triggers fit that wont break the bank and are a vast improvement over the stock one? Faxon barrels accurate? Do i need to replace the bolt as well?
