  1. Yea I originally bought the kit from a gun show from them. About $1400 for the upper. Realized now I overplayed ?
  2. Took the advice, sent back to manufacturer. Let’s see what happens. Thanks for the help!
  3. Gun lube is M-Pro 7, throughly cleaned and lubed prior to use.
  4. It’s an Olympus Arms kit out of California, upper came pre-assembled. Wiped the bcg down before pictures, I take it to the range pretty wet. The strange part of this to me is how there are no issues or gritty or sticky ness until it has time to sit and cool for a while Here is barrel extension.
  5. Hello Everyone, I’m new to the forum, and after reading countless articles and posts, I can’t seem to find a solution. I have a new .308 upper with a nickel boron bcg. I’ve taken it out 3 times and put about 100 rounds through it each time. Everything works pretty seemlessly at the range, no major issues. After I get home and the gun has cooled for more than about an hour or so the bcg gets real gritty, and 2 of those three times I could barely un-engage the bolt with the charging handle. When I finally get the thing apart, I don’t see and metal, debris, etc, in the bcg and it looks pretty normal. I just noticed tonight(after 3rd time out, that some of the teeth on the bolt are very very slightly or dulled at the edge, some more than the others. Almost looks like theyre chipped, but more scratched, as their shape has not really been changed almost at all. I really have no idea what’s going on, it’s like someone sneaks into my bag on the way home and pours super glue and sand into the action. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
