Thank you, I’m a bolt gun guy and this is my first rifle on the ar platform so I wasn’t sure. Definitely eased my mind!

I just bought a new DPMS LR-308 and when I took the bolt carrier group out to clean it after shooting I noticed a bunch of tiny brass chips/shavings. Each piece of brass I shot has a tiny chip and the very end of the case neck. I’m trying to figure out what the issue could be and how to fix it. Anything is appreciated!
