I figured doing a barrel swap would be faster than trying to find another rifle length saint victor upper. Given the current situation of the industry anyway

So I’ll give you guys the short story. I’ve been looking for a Springfield saint victor for a while now. Wanted a standard rifle that I planned to suppress and put a thermal optic on for hog hunting. My local LGS had a saint victor in 308 but it was pistol length. I bought it anyway because I liked the model. My question, what all is required to swap in a 16 inch barrel? I know there’s other options but I’d rather just do a barrel swap and try to keep most the rest of the gun as is for the time being. thank you
