Hey yall. So very little experience with ar-10’s aside from a previous aero m5. I am looking for a ar-10 style .308 and everytime I think I have found one I like.... i end up not liking how “proprietary” they are. like the sig 716i. Looks like a sweet rifle but I like to know it will have spare parts and parts compatibility down the line. DD5 looks nice but expensive. any suggestions? What would have the most after market compatibility should a part go down?

Just wanted to introduce myself. Have only ever owned 1 “ar-10” and got rid of it a while ago. Aero M5 that was just finicky about ammo. Sort of turned me off from the platform. Currently looking at different makes and models because I really would like an functioning ar-10. looking forward to learning from everyone here!
