Wow, Nice. Anyway, I have used your recommendations and the only change to your recommendations was I changed out the Orange Spring to the Sprinco Blue Spring. It didn't like the orange spring. Didn't travel far enough back and certainly didn't lock back once the last rd. was ejected. H3 buffer (Odin 5.7oz) and Sprinco Blue spring with the adjustable gas block, the 22-250 seemed to be running pretty smooth today, in fact, I would say the gun had a good day on the range today. I appreciate your insight and the info and tips I got from this group. I won't take up any more of your time or bother you anymore. Thanks. Steve S USN-Ret

Sorry about that, but I travel a lot for work, and just received the gas block maybe a week ago. I get in what I can when I am home. I will install the gas block tomorrow, hopefully get over to the range as well.

Yes, I installed it a few ago.

No adjustable gas block installed yet. Have the adjustable but not installed. Standard gas block. Battle Arm 308 Enhanced Bolt Catch (See attached pics) Have not received the 10B yet, and the 10A is backorder, so no order yet. I have a lot of bolt catches, mainly aero precision, pretty much the standard that comes with the 308 Lower Parts kits. 22-250-2.pdf

Hello 98Z5V, Went to the range today and had about the same inconsistency I started with. Orange Spring and 5.6oz buffer didn't cycle as planned, see attached pics. The customer chrome spring didn't solve the issue either. Shell ejection still good at 430 location. What do you think about a lighter spring with heavy buffer? 22-250-1.docx

I have the ODIN 2.500" buffer with 5.6oz of wt. in it. Your thoughts on the weight? Will check the 10B when it arrives, and I can get a chance to install it or try to.

Hello 98Z5V, I have not forgotten you or all the info you have described above. I have put together a listing of everything which should cover all you asked for and what I have done so far. It takes a bit of time. I will go to the range this weekend to test all this including all your suggestions. I have not installed the adj. gas block yet, but that is definitely the last option after I test all the other things you stated above. I did take it out a few weeks ago and had installed a new custom 308 spring and it ran through 8 rounds before having issues again, so I think we are on the right track, and it is close. I am sorry, just saw the above. I can’t answer that as I don’t remember if it did lock back or not. I don’t think it did. I will have more info when i test fire it again before I make some of the changes . I want to systematically make these changes as you have detailed out. I will post the details as I get it done.

Yes I read it. the mags are from BEAR CREEK ARMORY. They came with the upper/barrel assy.
