Update: installed Primary Arms 5.4oz Buffer weight, Springco Orange Spring and Wilson Combat’s 15.5” AR10 gas tube. Gun runs flawlessly on 50 gr Hornady Superformances, 4100 fps.
I will say gas key on BCG and gas tube port are a “snug fit” takes more force than usual to get the BCG out of the upper when taking apart but it honestly doesnt concern me as it doesnt feel like its enough resistance to hinder performance.
My last question for you fine gentleman would be, down the road when i go experimenting with lighter bullets and more fps, if i run into a gas problem and need to drill out the gas port on the barrel, with this build, what size gas port is recommended?
thanks again to everyone who stuck this out with me.
