COMitch1991 Posted January 4, 2021 Report Posted January 4, 2021 Hello everyone,I am just curious if anyone is running one of these POF 18" .308's ( 7.62 X 51 ) short stroke piston operated. I have been in the market for a piston operated 18" barrel AR-10 style rifle for a while. This rifle is the only serious candidate thus far, It seems there are a plethora of DI .308's out there and even a decent amount of 16" piston's. I apologize if this has already been discussed somewhere, I have looked up and down online and cannot seem to find much info on this 18" Edge SPR not even a review, Plenty of info on the 16" Edge. I know this is a awful time to buy a new rifle but I am not in a hurry at the moment as I am working on a couple other builds. I am open to suggestions on different rifles as well, Basically just looking for any feedback on this rifle though. Is it worth the money? Is it worth the almost 10LB weight? How does the short stroke piston system perform? I will be using this rifle as kind of an all around gun. Long range shooting / Elk & deer hunting / doomsday all in one rifle / Tyranny defense ETC.Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!- Mitch
Fineagle Posted February 17, 2021 Report Posted February 17, 2021 Try Central Florida Tactical or Tombstone Tactical for POF AR10's that are piston operated. Everything is pretty well sold out now but more may be coming.
