Jgun
Don't know if any of you guys have done this, but I've got to order some small parts for my long range build. Since I need an AR-10 gas tube, and some other Armalite specific parts, I'd like to order everything I need, right from them, and avoid duplicate shiping charges. Does anyone know if the ejection port door, pin and spring, along with the farward assist parts from the AR 10 will fit the POF? If no one can answer that one, perhaps one of you guys with an AR-10 could measure the dimensions of the Armalite parts, (length, height of port door, and dia of F assist button where it goes into the upper) I'd much appreciate it. weaponizer
I measured it with a caliper, the forward assist is 0.4855 where it goes into the receiver, the port cover length is 3.3010, and the height is 0.8830, this is from my AR10... Jgun
I just checked my receiver and the bore for the forward assist on my upper is .505", the space on my receiver between the port door mounts is 3.350" and the height appears correct as well. so it looks like the Armalite parts would fit. I think I'm going to measure the DPMS parts that are on my other .308s to see if their measurments match those that you've provided me from the Armalite. Thanks for your help.
