JP Extended VTAC and .936 LP gasblock

I had to send my wilson .937 adjustable gasblock back due to the adjustment screw not being threaded fully.   I only had 1.5 turns of adjustment.  Now they are backordered with no ETA for a replacement.

 

So I'm thinking to get the JP gasblock now.

 

Anyone have this combo on a rifle length gas system?

 

Does it use a double setscrew design or is locktight required?  Also can you access the adjustment though the grove in the JP VTAC handguard?  Considering asking Wilson for a refund since there is no ETA for a replacement part.  JP is one of the only other blocks that might work.

Just to close this Wilsons turn around time was great and the new block corrected whatever issue the old one had.
