benjammin
I've got one on order from Midway. Anyone have any experience with this model. It is a 16" heavy barrel and a glacier guard handguard. I am hoping it will make a better field carry than the 24" stainless bull barrel upper.Anyone have any experience with the Counter Sniper Scopes? I put one on my LR-308 and I like it very much. w103tws
off the subject, but im in the same boat, as far as switching out uppers. What stock are you running? I keep looking for a compromise between a lightweight/tactical, and sturdy long range stock. I haven't had any luck :( I may end up just keeping the a2 stock on if I have to. benjammin
I kept the A2 stock, but put an extension on it to increase the length of pull for my size (I am 6'5" tall). Also, for me, the A2 feels more natural on the draw and through the recoil impulse. I do not subscribe to the need for an adjustable stock for different shooting positions/conditions. Even with my M4, I never make an adjustment despite going from prone to standing during competitions. It is handy for my wife if she shoots it to reduce it some, but that is not likely with this LR-308.
