First I would like to say that I am glad the item was found and is on its way to where it is supposed to be. Unfortunately I'm in a position that I have to try to clear my good name and will obviously never be able to sell anything on this forum again due to the created thread bashing me. First I would like to say the only thing I did wrong was have the shipping company package the item for me. After I learned the item was MIA I immediately contacted USPS to get the ball rolling on recovering the item or getting the insurance money to cover the lost BCG. The local USPS facility was kind enough to drop off the paperwork to following day to me. I filled out the paper work and sent it in to them. Unfortunately when I shipped the package and payed for insurance (Out of my own pocket) the facility did not annotate it in the system. Luckily I saved the shipping paperwork but made the claim more difficult. I spent Hours on the phone with different sort facilities/USPS/Claims Centers and took a total of 4 hours off work leaving early to drop off paperwork to the local post office trying to get this sorted out. Then the Empty package showed up and I had to completely start the whole claims process over because it was officially no longer a lost package, but a lost item. There was no great way to resolve the situation where neither of us got screwed out of either the item or the money. When he tried to get ahold of me those few days I had a family medical emergency in which I had to spend over a week 4 hours from my house. $265 or a BCG were the least of my concerns with my wife in the ICU and my new born Child in the NICU and a 3 year old with no family around. I really could not have done more to try and help out. It really is unfortunate that my name is now soiled on this site because USPS mishandled the product. There was truly nothing more I could have done to help Russ.

PM Me if you are interested and we can work something out. Also so I can send you some better pics. The 700kb restriction is painful.

Selling my DPMS Chrome Bolt Carrier Group. Have used this in my DPMS SASS for about 150-200 round but just got a JP Enterprises Setup so this has to go to a new home. I know these are still very hard to find. Would like to get $250 for it. Item is used but well taken care of. Has new rings and will come oiled and ready to go. This picture is of the Bolt Carrier when it first showed up but I can send specific and new pics directly to anyone interested.

They are still Illegal if you do not put a block to only hold 10 rds. It doesn't apply to me because of a Military Clause. But I do not intend on living in NY forever. It is a good loop hole in the law to be able to at minimum get the Mags shipped to my door.

I live in NY and recently ordered a Magpul 20 Rd Mag to my house. NY is a state that does not allow a MAG with more than a 10 RD capacity. The Company I ordered it from gets by this by disassembling the Mags and ships them as "PARTS". Here is the link I hope this helps anyone else out that lives is a Ban State. 10 Left. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0084I8BEC/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

BTW It is not stupid loud when shooting... Have no idea what it sounds like as a bystander but I'm sure the side pressure may be significant! -

I wish I could say the same for parallaxtactical.com! Placed my order on Friday 09March and still hasn't shipped"(As of 20:42 13March) Payment cleared on Friday.. Apparently takes 5+ days to package and ship a barrel... Called today was told "It will get sent out when it gets sent out"... umm thanks for clearing that up for me....

I agree expensive! But if I recall correctly they were in the neighborhood of $350 retail from DPMS. Looking back on it now I wish I would have just stepped up to JP and go the Low Mass Setup... Will probably end up upgrading before long!
