  1. Well guys, after trial and error and helpful suggestions from this forum I'm finally achieving sub moa at 100. First I reloaded 168gr Nosler comp, IMR 4895 42gr. OAL 2.815. Also removed the howitzer type muzzle brake and wow she's buck'n now,but I'll sacrifice this for accuracy. Just to add I initially started loading with an OAL of 2.80 this closed up my groupings bUT not the moa I was looking for. So what I've observed was increasing the OAL from 2.80 to 2.815 made a huge difference.
  2. well we here at Cal Fire are still using them.
  3. So what do you know about the the SlowV-10 Bronco.
  4. Hey Wet, do you mind if you share your reload reload recipe for your AR. I've some Nosler 168 gr custom competiion bullets to start. Powder? OAL? thanks
  5. thanks for the info, I only reload 45 acp and 357 mag. I would have to reeducate for high end rifle loads. So are your handloads specific for your rifle only?
  6. ok I'll try some heavier loads, as for the optics well I used a bubble level the best I could. lets hope its not the barrel I waited eight months for this sucker.
  7. I had to wait almost eight months before i got this barrel, thanks for the info I'll try heavier loads.
  8. well this was this was a high end bulid for me (from my wallet anyways). Maybe time to get a lead sled, you my be right, I could see the cross hairs move with every heart beat.
  9. Approximately 100 rds down the pipe Fulton Armory says there barrels are ready to shoot w/o any break in.
  10. Can you see the target pix now? sorry I'm not use to this forum
  11. this what i have on this rifle, JD Machine upper/ lower, Criterion 18.5" match barrel, Elftmann single stage ( set at 4.5 lbs), DPMS bcg and a Millet TRS-1. From this pix you can see Ive used different kinds of ammo, Lake City , GFL, FC and SSA. Is this the best i can expect from this rifle? Note this was shot at 100yds on sand bag rest. Another thing to note is my point of aim was on the "x" center of diamonds.
  12. I've started my AR .308 build, finally. So far I have the JD upper/lower (not the matched set) DPMS BCG and DPMS lpk. My goal is to build a long range tack driver, I need to know what kind of match barrel is recommended, should I go 20" or 24"? any suggestions
