  1. It's OK Vlad, you are still over there and you have worn the uniform. The well wishes still stand! I'd be there as a contractor myself if I was physically capable. Stay smart, stay hyper-alert and come home safe Brother.
  2. Just the kind of place I feel right at home in! Thanks for the welcome. CS62
  3. Hey Wash, your just right up the road. Perhaps we can get together sometime and burn up some ammo.
  4. Thanks Matt & Unforgiven, I really appreciate it. Man, everbody has really gone out of their way to welcome me! What a crew! I wish I'd discovered this site a long time ago! Once again, a Big Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome.
  5. THANKS. It seems that there is a great group of shooters here from the newbie to the expert. Just the kind of group I like to be a part of! I have been shooting AR's for over 30 years and I learn something new/different every day.
  6. Thanks gunjunkie, I see by your handle we suffer from the same affliction!
  7. Thanks for the warm welcome! As for the .243, man that thing shoots like a laser beam! All I've run through it are 85-100gr bullets as that is what Armalite reccomends but I love it using those weight bullets! I dropped a 10 point Buck out at the "Home Place" this past deer season @ 168 yards with it and he never took a step. If you are a .243 fan I reccomend getting an upper for your AR-10 lower, you won't be dissapointed.
  8. I'm a 50 yr old disabled veteran in deep E. Tx. Been shooting an Armalite AR-10 for many years in both .308 & .243. I've pretty much tried all the big name makers and come to the conclusion that for ME, Armalite is the best rifle there is. I carried the Colt in the Army and it was allright but nowhere near the Armalite. I am interested in the new Colt that has both uppers and can swap both 556 and 308 using the same lower so if anybody gets one i'd love to hear about it!
