This is my Armalite AR-10A4 SPR. (ABOVE) I had listed it for sale about 2 weeks ago but the narrative was lost when posting the pics. It has had exactly 200 rounds run through it. It has a SWFA SS 10X42 Tactical Scope mounted and is a "One Holer" if you do your part. I have set the price @ $1650.00 and it is non negotiable as that is exactly what I have invested in the gun, optic, and bipod/rail. This is one super sweet, super accurate AR-10! I hate to sell it but my health forces me to face certain facts, one of which is the fact that I can no longer carry it all day on a hunt and then shoot if off hand. Gulf War Syndrome is such a "Buzz-Kill"! Anyway Brothers, if I can't tote it then I really can't do it justice. I show that on that particular loading the range to play with is 42-43.1gr Brother. I just found in my log book that for my rifle 42grs was the most accurate with both 168 & 175 SMK bulleys.

When I can't get/don't have LC brass I have had real good luck with Winchester brass as well. Please keep us informed on your progress and I would really be interested in how well that load does in your rifle. Cav

Since US Money is the only money that keeps the UN going, I think it would behoove us all to start a petition to be sent to our Senators demanding that, in light of our current fiscal situation (thank you Obie!) all funding to the UN be suspended. The fact is, we simply can't afford to prop up this anti-American do nothing bogus organization. What say you Brothers?

The USMC has formed what they are calling "A Police Battallion" for the express purpose of "Civillian Riot Control". This is not the job or purpose of the Marine Corps! Never has been! The Marine Corps is our Nations Quick Reaction Force, the Warriors whose job it is to provide a stop-gap fighting force until the rest of the military can get spun up and on site. As for that 168 gr bullet, my favorite is what we shot in the Army- LC Brass, CCI #34 Primer and 42grs of Reloader 15. I shoot this exact load out of my Armalite and it gives me sub MOA accuracy with both 168 SMK's and 175 SMK's.

Armalite being the original designer of the AR-10 has always used thier own specific mags. In the early days they used converted M-14 mags because they were cheap & plentyful. They then introduced the Generation II mags so there was no more need for conversion of the M-14 mags because we all bitched about it so much. Being that the PMAG is the most popular mag on the market and the most requested aftermarket mag they designed the new A MODEL to accept the PMAG. Why would they try a DPMS mag? The biggest reported problem from DPMS owners are malfunctions related to their mags. I know my LR308 never worked with factory mags, one of the reasons I sold it.

I was in new Orleans during Katrina and watched Cops along with Uniformed US Military kicking doors, assaulting citizens (including senior citizens) and confiscating guns. And yes I have been a cop. I stand by my statement. If it doesn't apply to you then I applaud you but, when TSHTF you will be either with 'em or against 'em and when that time comes and the orders come down to disarm the citizenery what will YOU do? Lose your job and become an outlaw with the rest of us? I guess we will see.

If as you say, you don't believe in cheap guns, I say go with an Armalite AR-10 SASS. The original AR-10 and accurate enough to shoot the wings off a fly at just about any range. As for optics, its hard to beat a Nightforce. Just my 2 cents worth to be sure!

I think you are correct in that most will turn them in. It's a damn shame what has happened to our beloved country through the abuses of career politicians and the apathy of the dumbed down masses. I for one will not go quietly.

in case you haven't figured it out My brothers, Bill O. is a New Yorker! One thing ingrained in all New yorkers is the need for Gun Control. No matter how intelligent or conservative they may appear, on this subject they are all the same. I quit watching Mr o long ago for this very reason. Hey Jon: I was not only a CavScout, I was also a Shooter. I'm no defeatist, I'm a realist and I know that when the govt turns the entire might of the US Military upon it's own people there can be only one outcome. Don't get me wrong brother, I will have my disabled ass in a number of well built HIDES and I will be scoring hit after hit for as long as I can, however I don't believe that there are enough of us with the will to outlast the entire US Military that I served so proudly. Oh and BTW, anyone who thinks that the govt won't use the US Military against it's own people better take a look at recent history!

I, like alot of you I'm sure have purchased alot of firearms related stuff from Brownells over the years. The one thing I don't understand though is why anyone would pay Brownells $45.00 for an Armalite 20rd mag when you can purchase the same mag from Armalite for $35.00? I realize shipping comes into play here but I'm just sayin'...

Shep: In my experience, RRA products are worth the wait. I have a 556 carbine that I've owned since before anyone knew who RRA was and it's still MOA accurate and never let me down. Hang in there Brother!
