  1. I really like this rail. I will put the correct size one back on it. I picked up a trijicon 56mm and a Borbro mount and it wont cover the issue like the eotech does. Instead of using it as a paper weight though someone might be able to use it.
  2. As requested...if your looking for specific photos pm me your email and what you want to see and I will remove it and do my best to get the photos you want. I have a eotech mounted to the upper and I used a grip pod when I zeroed it. Nothing has been permanently attached to the rail. Sorry for poor quality iPad photo.
  3. Troy MRF308 if FDE "High Profile" Quad Rail for sale, $200 buyer pays actual shipping. I bought this rail new a few years ago, it was about the time DPMS was transitioning to different upper specs....The upper I ordered was the LP upper and at the time Troy only had the one size rail. I want to sell the "high profile" one I have and pick up the "Low Profile" to eliminate the uneven transition from the upper to the rail. I installed the rail, zeroed my optic and it has been in the back of my safe since. It's in excellent shape. If you are unsure which rail you need for your upper please check the Troy website. Pics available upon request.
  4. Gas Block sold. Make me an offer on the rest.
  5. Just what I need another reason to buy more parts.....Thanks for the info! <thumbsup>....It might be a while...working on a new build..you guys wouldn't be interested it's just a 6.8. <laughs>
  6. Yeah....I didn't realize they had made a "change" until I was putting it together... >:( When your that far along what r u going to do?? I'm not a fan of the DPMS quad rail. Trying to figure out a way to make it a little less noticeable..If anyone has any suggestions I'm listening. This will be my first and last DPMS build...great way to get repeat business!
  7. The dust cover came with the upper...I applied a couple coats FDE duracoat, same thing with the forward assist and you can't see in the pic but I also did the charging handle release.
  8. I ordered the wrong wrench...never used. Need funds for next build! <thumbsup> $40. buyer pays shipping
  9. Smooth sided upper, rail gas block with carbine lenght gas tube***SOLD***, delta ring, bird cage, carbine handgards all for 308. $225 $200 for all OBO. Buyer pays actual shipping. All parts have had less than 50 rounds ran thru them.
  10. I love to shoot them with a bow. Problem is I can't keep up. This should tip the scales in my favor. ;)
  11. Nope not yet....I will mosly use this for pig hunting so just about anything will work most shots are 100yds or less. Once I decide on a scope I will start working on longer shots.
  12. Ok. Got it all back together....took a while....but we moved in the process and I just got my workshop unpacked. Here it is I ended up changing out the upper, new rail and stock. Duracoated the upper, lower, barrel and supressor. Got some FDE magpuls and a FDE grip on the way. Can't wait to get it to the range.
  13. Yes. I got a sportical for a good deal but it looked too off the shelf for me. I replaced everything but the bolt assembly, lower and barrel. It a great place to start you get a shooter and you can customize as you go. I will save you the trouble a regular AR-15 barrel tool will remove the barrell nut. This was once a sportical.....got a some FDE magpuls and a FDE grip on the way. I am leaning toward the 308 ACOG in FDE. Get it and go nuts <thumbsup>
  14. Yep thats the wrench.....and +1 on a good weapon
  15. To remove the delta ring/barrel nut on a sportical you can use a regular AR-15 armorer tool. On another note I have a DPMS Barrel wrench, model 308-TL-01, for sale.....never been used. >:( PM me if interested
  16. Hunting and Fishing...I also like making my own trial cameras. Between a year round hog season plus the other seasons and the different saltwater/freshwater bites I am manage to stay busy most of the year. ;D
  17. some online buy now $510 per 1000....wonder if it is worth it.
  18. I bought base sportacle for a piggie gun about a year ago it works great!!!! +1 on spending some time with it and then making changes.
  19. Anyone used or heard of this ammo before? Found a good deal online. http://dealer.americantactical.us/products/?product=680
  20. OK need a little advice. Which wrench do I need to remove the barrell nut on a spotical? It has the delta ring. I have model 308-TL-01 from DPMS. I doesn't seem to be the correct one. It has been a long week am I missing something? thanks
  21. True....never looked at it like that....I always tell her it is the same reason she needs 40+ pairs of shoes when she only has two feet..... The more I think about it your may be right......My biggest fear is that when I'm dead and gone she will sell all my huntin' and fishin' stuff for what I told her I paid for it.
  22. Thanks for the link. That should cover just about all of it. You will like the rail it is sweet, I got it in FDE. Still waiting on parts.......The wife doesn't understand how I can take a fully functional gun a part but require boxes of parts to put it back together. ;D
  23. Can't go wrong with the C mags I have never had any problems with them.
  24. For home defense and plinking I like the Berretta 92. Ammo and parts are cheap, accessories are endless. The light recoil makes the wife comforable using it if she should need to and the Crimson Trace grips fit on very well. It is one of two semii-autmatic guns I own that I have never had a problem with and they both are shot regularly in the best and worse conditions. The other being my Extrema.
