  1. Another downside, I would also imagine that you wouldnt be able to use that P mag in any other gun (reliably) since you would be modifying it to fit the AR 10.
  2. If anyone is looking for mags that work the the AR 10 I ordered these and they work great, they are about 40 a piece for 20 RD. http://dsgarms.com/ProductInfo/ARM10607002.aspx
  3. if you dont mind sharing how much did you get it for?
  4. Sweet keep us updated on this thats some good news! *Subscribing To Thread*
  5. Ya from what i have heard they make quality scopes. Awesome, I wanna put one of those magpul stocks on my ar so bad. From what I have noticed thats the cheapest (a little cheaper here http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM703-5.html) you can find it unless you go somewhere to order it in bulk. I recently started shooting some lower quality Win FMJ that are 148 grain I think http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/74004-5.html? Anyways they are only 10 bucks for 20 rds and they arent that bad besides the muzzle flash. Although if you can afford it go with Hornady best ammo, period.
  6. mistred, hope you like your ar10 welcome to the family! You should also check out some Leupold scopes as that is what im going to put on my ar. They have some sick long range/mid range-tactile scopes that are perfect for the ar, with drop comp and everything. Heres the exact one im going with. http://www.leupold.com/tactical/products/scopes/mark-4-lrt-riflescopes/mark-4-3-5-10x40mm-lrt-m3-illum-reticle/. For now I have an aimpoint red dot on it for close combat. Might wanna check those out too as you can always mount them on top of a scope.
  7. Even for the bolt on hand guards? MI says theirs jus goes on like the stock one without any mess.
  8. Figured it would be more accurate and better with the free float. Now I just need to know which are easier to install between the SWS and the DD and the LaRue. Does anybody know anything about the MI hand guards?
  9. I believe so I may have only seen a couple and ya from what I have read most have problems.
  10. Ya I'll have to check out the armalite hand guards, thanks alot. What is the free float option does that help? Also which of these are easy to install and which do I need a gunsmith to install?
  11. Ya I already read through that, doesnt really tell you what is better between them I was curious which everyone liked better. Do you have an opinion on any of the others? I have never heard of SWS. Which is a good mid hand guard for like <300.
  12. Ya I would rather not drop 50.00 per mags thats a little expensive. Also do you know if you can use 30 Rd mags? According to the manual it says to only use up to 25 Rds.
  13. What are the best hand guards to use on the armalite ar 10's? Midwest Industries, Daniel Defense, LaRue Tact or any others that are good? I guess I'm looking for a mid to upper level hand guard dont want to spend too much on it.
  14. Do I have to use the armalite mags for my ar 10 or can I get other ones that arent so expensive? If so where is a good place to get them? The ones at midway are no good as far as I have read.
