  1. Larry, I recently tried to add a better bolt release to my DPMS 308. No one make a tac style release the fits the contours of the 308 lower. It should be a simple machining process to open the spot where the upper portion ot the bolt release goes to allow a DPMS 223 tactical release to fit. I had a local gunsmith modify one (reshape teh upper pad) and it works great on my 308. Just a thought. Gregg
  2. John at Eagle Machine (505) 463-5793, can cut your flutes and modify the barrel (length and threads) and even build a custom brake. He does outstanding work. You can see some of his work on the DPMS pictures page - Flashbucks.
  3. I am new to the site so here goes. This rifle started life as LR308B. I had John at Eagle Machine flute the barrel and create a custom brake. I added the Magpul PRS, pistol grip and Troy Battle rails. Also added a two stage RRA trigger and Millett 4-16 scope. I have added a 20mm red dot on a small rail to the lower left of the scope since the pictures were taken. The gun shoots 3/4 MOA with 168gr HPBT. Enjoy, Gregg
