Started with a base 308 ORC. I ground down the gas block to fit under the handguards. It came with an ACS stock, MIAD, and Mid Length Handguards. I sold this furniture and ended up with a FDE CTR and FDE Rifle length MOE Handguards. I traded the MIAD and $5 for an ambi Falcon Ergo grip. I already had the sling from a previous rifle. I bought a VTAC light holder and attached my old 6P LED Defender (added a 400 lumen lamp) on it. I put the defender head on a 6P LED for work. The front sight is a YHM Flip up that was tough to line up but I got it done. The rear is a magpul (gen 1 i think) I have a tac latch on the charging handle and put on a RRA Star selector for personal preference. The optic is an Aimpoint Comp C3 w/ FDE cover in a Larue cantilever mount. Sorry but I don't have other pics yet.

I have the same rifle and will be getting the barrel fluted and add a comp to it. i'll be running a Millet DMS-1 on it in a Larue SPR Mount.

congrats. make sure you post pics. i'm building a custom version myself. just need handguards and a bolt group.

how much are they asking for it?

well, is it? do they clean up a lot better? are they more reliable?

I'm not going with a traditional suppressor mount. I have a AAC suppressor and blackout on my AR15. I want something that goes directly on the threads. Thanks for the heads up on the KX3, won't waste my time.

I am gonna build an SPR. I already have a build up DPMS LR-308 lower with Magpul CTR. I have 5 Magpul 20 rd Mags and A DPMS SASS 18" barrel. I have questions. I need a low profile gas block - thinking about the one made by Troy Industries. The other option was to buy an JP adjustable gas block. I need a handguard - thinking about a Viking Tactics Freefloat with bipod mount (i don't need the other rails) I want to add a DPMS Panther Grip and a Magpul ACS Stock: Thoughts? I will eventually add a JP trigger. I need a flash hider and was thinking about a Troy Claymore or Noveske KX3 but am open to suggestions. I want something I can remove to attach a suppressor down the road. Thanks and I'm glad to join this community.
