General thoughts and discussion on the DPMS MK12?? (Panther™ 7.62NATO Mark 12 ) http://www.dpmsinc.com/firearms/firearm.aspx?id=59 My first AR patterned 308. Ways to improve it??? WISHES: a better mag release (seems a bit tight/close to the lower surface plane), and am surprised that there is no fence around the mag release as on my duty 5.56.. Wish the trigger guard was not "square" and "permanent" and was a little more robust or shaped better for gloved use... Probably change the charging handle to the BCM... probably more to come. Interested in those familiar with this platform and their thoughts. New here. love the site. learning a lot. Thanks~
