I really like the BABC it feels and does very similar to what it does with my battlecomp 5.56 comp. But it really depends on what you are going to be using your .308 for. If more for precision shooting then you might want to lean toward the SJC. For me I wanted more of an all-around compensator with my 16” barrel and my set up.

Thank you. The fit is ok, the finish on this lower was not to my liking, that is why I duracoated it. If I were to do it all over again I would probably go with a TM Lower or the Mega Lower. The CMMG lower fixed trigger guard makes the area very small and I could not add a phase 5 tact. bolt release cause it hit the lower. I am happy with my lower and build still though. :) Chad

I changed mine up a little this week. 1. Took off the AFG and put on a QD Tangy Down Stubby 2. Took off my Magpul CTR and put on a Vltor Emod 3. Grabbed a B&T Quick-Detach Bi-Pod for bench shooting (very easy on and off and pretty sturdy as well) Chad

I was looking at getting the same ones for my newly built 308 as well. I like the fact that the side mount leaves your bottom rail open to be able to hold the weapon still. I like the fact they disappear when not in use. They also seem easy enough to take off when needed/wanted to. I am hoping to purchase them next month when my extra check comes in.

Thank you. I am only painting the Lower, I just didn't like the CMMG Coating. It was my first time Duracoating and was pretty easy. I would recommend it if someone was looking to change the color of their firearm. Chad

Well it was a long hall for this baby but I am sure glad I purchased it. Thanks to DPMS Bolts holding this baby up about 2 months, it finally arrived this week and took her out today. I purchased the .308 Addax Tactical Guardian Upper Receiver. Chris at Addax was great to work with allowing me to customize my order down to the 16” barrel from the original 18” fluted one. I took her out today and it ran perfect. No issues what so ever, very smooth and might I say this thing is a friggen tack driver. Took about 4 rounds to zero in and then she was unstoppable. Nice review Survival. On your AR-10 latch, is the bolt angled in at all? Mine was slightly angled in to help keep the mag latch snug to the pmag. Chad

Correct. That is why you have to get the AR-10 mag catch Chad

Ok. The ar-10 mag catch is the way to go. The main difference in the two is the ar-10 catch bolt has a slight angle inward. This is what makes it work cause when you place it in the lower and screw it down, it forces the catch to go into the mag slot deeper. I do not have an upper yet but my pmag is locked in there very tightly now. Chad

Just assembled my cmmg lower and my Pmag would not stay in. I just now ordered the Armalite AR10 Mag Catch and hopefully that will fix the issue. Chad

Sorry might of miss worded my question. I the rail the same thickness where you would attach say a BUIS? I see the back "tongue" is thinner and the rail itself is lower. However, where you would actually be placing your sights, is that part the same thickness? Chad

Quick question with the low profile upper, is the actual rail height the same as all other rails? I am assuming yes so they can fit the same mounts onto them. Chad
