Thanks to all for the input! Like I said, I'm sorta clueless here but trying to learn. What I think I know, so far: My AP4 rifle has a Carbine Length buffer, spring, and tube. This means I can use the ARFX stock in carbine length using the hardware already in the rifle. If I want the rifle length stock, I need the correct (A2 length??) buffer, spring, and extension tube. Sound right?

LOL, I'm still not really sure. Started with AK's, milsurp bolt actions, CETME's and a PTR .............not sure how I got here, but think it's a good place to be!

Let me preface this by saying I am really ignorant about AR-type rifles - but I want to learn! I have a new DPMS LR-AP4 and do not care for the collapsible stock. I am familiar with and really like ACE Skeleton stocks, have used them for years on "other" rifle platforms. I am trying to determine if this stock will work with my rifle and, if so, what specific mods (If any) I will need to make.
