Very nice.. I have been thinking of doing something like that in the future only I would try to match my local Everglades down here. Any issues with the paint blistering or burning when the barrel heats up?

Welcome.. I am new here as well. I just picked up a DPMS LR 308 lower at a gun show with the plan of building it slowly and spreading out the pain of spending so much cash over a reasonable time frame. So much for that idea. I already have an A3 Upper on the way with a free float tube, and a 24" fluted and threaded barrel with a Vortex FH from rguns.com. Just ordered the extension tube, buffer and spring from Midway and put a bid in on a PRS Magpul stock. <thumbsup> Did you get a complete rifle or are you building one?
