Well, got it back yesterday from RRA, seems it was just soft brass, but they went ahead and rounded the ejectors edge. Back to the range this weekend to see how it does. Their customer service is awsome.

well, I emailed RRA and they called back first thing this morning. A+ on customer service. UPS man will be by to pick it up tomorrow. Thanks for all the input.

I fired 40 rounds through it today with no failure to ejects, but it marked every round the same

First time out shooting my new lar-8, and its been awhile since I fired a semi-auto rifle, but I dont remember my M16A2 ever smashing the lettering off the back of the casing like this. What would be causing this, or is it normal. I assume its the extractor, but unsure. Thanks, Allen

Now I'm totally lost. Between everything on here and what the RRA tech said, I've become confused. Which PRS do I need to buy for the RRA LAR-8, the one for the ar15 and cut it down, or the Ar 10 and cut it down? Sorry for the dumb question, just dont want to get the wrong one.

Found out that you have to notch the cheek piece 1/4 of an inch for the charging handle. I'd post a picture, but still have not figured that out yet
