Poking my head into say "hi", and looking forward to learning something about my new rifle. I purchased a DPMS LR308 with the 24" barrel and the A3 style upper. I've attached a Leopold VX-II, 6-18x scope and after zeroing it in, my best group of the day was 1.51 inches at 200 yards with handloaded hunting ammo. (150 gr hornady v-max with H335 powder). I'm hooked for good now. I own several .308 rifles including a HK clone and a converted Saiga, which are allot of fun for blowing off allot of ammo, but I've found myself wanting to shoot longer and longer distances (accurately). Looking forward to listening to all of you and learning.
