Im a minimalist and someone that trys to always purchase only those things that serve more than one purpose. What is the pupose of this arsenal? Is it just becuase you like collecting them or what? What cant you do with one that you can do with the others? Just curious..

I mean to change headspacing, not to check for it. Reason for checking headspacing is a no brainer.

haha, good thing for me what i wrote above isnt really true. All i want now is one gun to replace the few i have and others i want to buy for different purposes. Hence my 308 black rifle build.

Thanks for posting this. 30 builds with no headspacing problems is what i want to hear. This is very reassuring. At least it gives me some confidience that the MFG are doing something right. I can deal with the cost of the gauge, its the cost of what the gauge might find wrong that worries me.

I've seen plenty of videos and write up about headspacing, but no one ever talks about how to correct it! So you determine that your headspacing is wrong. Then what????? Please dont say take it to a gunsmith, the point of this is DIY.

Hi, Mine names Henry and im a gun-oholic. I was clean for about 10 days and then this guy named Ted Nuggent came on the TV shooting an AK47 for the whole show! After that i emptyed my Piggy bank, ran all the way to walmart and bought a box of shells. I found a nice quite place ont he range and I burned through the whole box like it was nothing. It was the best high i've had. The biggest thing i regret is taking my son with me teaching him my bad habits. But, I rather he leared from me then one of his freind or on his own. Thats great. However AR15 parts are low in general and they have sales all the time. the 308 on the otherhand the lowers or sets are always expensive and even when they are discounted its not very much. So im just hoping that what ever it turns out to be is significant. I have a very low budjet on this build. thank you again for the info.

Thanks for the info. I would prefer having the set from either of those companies. I Like them both. However, everything i have prices for them is 650+. I wonder what thier deal price would be....
