I have ran approx 40 rounds through my Oracle.. Currently a little all over the place on the target. My last 4 shots, I figured it out. I'm pulling because of the trigger, which I have asked the question of the first upgrade.. Trigger, however that's a little bit out (6 months) Is there a way I can practice trigger control without burning rounds and damaging the firing pin... in other words, dry fire. Thanks

This is a newbie question more than anything.. Am I able to even remove / change the flash suppressor? (16") If so, suggestions on a different muzzle break? Thanks in advance for any infromation given. This is a great site to learn <thumbsup>

(1) From what I have read... Looks like a trigger upgrade would be first. Question is: (a) two stage trigger? (using this for hunting and target shooting) first two choices.. Money is a factor in these upgrades. (2) Hand guards.. (Oracle .308LR) would like to put a removable bi-pod on it. (3) Barrels.. (18-20") Would like to reach out and touch my target at 500 yds. First.. I would like to say that this is my first AR since the military (85-91) and it really feels good to get one back in my hands. My first question (Of many to come) I will be using this 80% Deer Hunting - 20% Target Shooting. I'm sure I will get many opinions on this, but that is why I am asking. What is the max ethical distance for taking down a Whitetail? (150gr -168gr and Optics are 4-12 x 40 VX-R) Or does anybody have bullistics that they have recorded over the years for a 16" barrel? thanks in advance for any infromation given.
