Good evening, Im going to use the dpms LR 308 stripped lower receiver to build a rifle. All of the parts such as the LPK, butt stock and so forth seem to be easy to get online except for the complete upper I want which is the dpms 24 inch bull barrel with teflon coating. I havent called panther arms yet bc its been the weekend but even if I did I have read things online about ppl being lied to about wait times which end up being super long. Im just wondering if anyone has ordered recently, like late 2011 or early 2012 and how long they waited. Also what other alternatives do I have as far as uppers that are similar to the dpms and compatible with the lower I am going to get. I was thinking about the bushmaster Hunter but didnt know compatibility. Any help is greatly appreciated.
