looking very nice! so did the moe grip fit ok? im wondering if mine had fitment issues because both were hydro dipped? Ive got the cmmg 308 lower parts kit coming should be here monday with my miad grip and ubr strike plate and butt pad. Have you installed your take down pins yet? the rear one looks like a funky way to set. not through the back of the receiver like ar15's, looks like a screw from the bottom?

Stock came today, grip, lpk, should be in tomorrow.

The one pictured in my build thread was a moe. The upper part didnt match with the lower receiver, it is too wide and it wouldnt seat properly. Ive got the miad on the way ill keep you updated how that goes.

Got a ubr and miad grip on the way in fde. Also got in my slash heavy buffer and spring. Should be getting the lpk and barrel ordered up after payday.

they were done at a place in oregon. I found them for sale already pre-dipped but once i got them in the colors were way off. I had a feeling they might not match but pulled the trigger on them anyway. They are en-route back to be swapped out for a fde set. Not gonna try and get a perfect match, too big of a headache. good thing i got this guy the same day or i might had been a little frustrated at the situation.

Thank you for the input. I wont use this for hunting just target and if i ever need it for defense. Ill start looking around for a 1-10 barrel.

What twist should i be looking for? Also for a 5-600 yd shooter is a match grade barrel really necessary?

this is my first build ever. got the bro fallout10 in digicam in this week. heres some eye candy. any input or advice anyone can give on a 308 build would be much appreciated. my plan is to have this be a 5-600 yd shooter. I have the sig 716 for closer stuff and a savage 10ba for longer range stuff. im planning on running a 20" rainier arms barrel. just not sure about anything else. any suggestions on what parts to get and where would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ordered the digicam upper and lower and bcg. Should be in my hands next week sometime. First build for me so im excited to start.
