  1. Yep that's what I used to achieve the correct dimension, then I turned one from some allum. stock
  2. Yes I have a Rock River with an "Operator A2" I liked it alot, so I got one for their LAR-8. It comes with everything..stock, tube, buffer, and spring. After careful measurement I determined that a spacer approximately 3/8" dropped down the tube before the spring, gave me the proper "Bolt Hold Open" clearance (1/8 to 3/16") and allowed the BCG to bottom out with in the tube and not crash into the receiver...
  3. My understanding is yes...If you use a CAR buffer in a rifle tube, the BCG will be allowed to crash into the receiver. The BCG needs to come back past the "bolt hold open", but not far enough to make contact with the back end of the receiver
  4. I just re-read this thread and am a bit confused, what needs to be changed? or better yet what is "wanted" to be changed? I'm not being argumentative nor am I one of those "all you really need is_______" guys, but I put a different hand guard, pistol grip, and a fixed stock on and I am VERY happy.
  5. I put a RRA Operator A2 on mine using a rifle tube and buffer with no problems.... << without a spacer dropped down the tube, the BCG will crash into the receiver >>
  6. that is a 178gr Amax on top of 43.9gr Varget using a Smith&Wesson M&P10 1:105r Remington brass trimmed to 2.005 CCI 200 primers COAL of 2.2810 I was having issues with my chrony that day so I don't have that, info but I am rolling up some more today for another tighter bracket to see what a 300yd set of groups looks like
  7. don' look for a thread entitled 1st attempt...it wasn't picture worthy I am going to refine this at 300yd:
  8. Love my RRA Coyote Carbine (.223/5.56) "one hole" accurate, fell in love with the platform. But after Deer hunting with it I keep coming back to the bumper sticker: "There Ain't No Replacement For Displacement"
