I have had a lot of fun with this fugly looking stock. I bought mine back when there was only 1 option. Some guy's take to it easily and others seem to struggle with the weapon bouncing. ( at least I did ). There was a learning curve for me, ( good ammo, good mags ,clean weapon). Thought about getting a cheap MP 15/22 to run the 22 rounds thru it. Never thought about it on a .308 dumping some of my Pakistani 1991 milsurp .... I had some guy's mock it but to me it was a lot of fun , especially with a surefire 60 rd'er. Good idea to let the weapon cool between shoots and for me,,, it worked better on my 16" than my 20" hbar.

Thanks, I have a YHM Ti sup coming , right at 6 months now, and from the rumor mill it may be a couple more. I want to suppress both of my .308's.

1st post from MI. I just picked up a Armalite AR10 after waiting for things to cool down from ( SH ). I must say I have been shooting the heck out of my new toy, so much so that I have bruised my shoulder. With that said, I was wondering what kind of aftermarket stock is favored ? I was interested in the PRS with the monopod knob, my( 1st ) question is does the stock come with the flip down knob or do I have to buy that additionally ? (2nd ), I'm not sure how to tell what model Armalite I have , it is a few years old but I can't seem to find the exact model. Mine came in the A2 config but had no front site or carrying handle. The barrel doesn't have a brake or threaded end on it either. Once I figure out how to upload photos I will post up a pic. (3rd ) is the model year stamped in the serial # ?
