We bought a 45 tommy (auction) in a violin case at the last Friends of the NRA dinner.....got suckered into it whit the case lol.

Yes it is nice but I have found that if you sit to far to the outside of the "chair" the table seems to be a bit unstable and could flip fairly easily. Im going to add a 2x4 across the ground across the bottom of the rear 4x4s that are close together for some added stability.

Never thought about using coroplast. Are there any big stores like home depot or alike that sell large sheets of that stuff?

Had some free time yesterday so I whipped up a new shooting bench and target stand for the deer camp. I was tired of stapling targets to sticks and shooting off the tailgate or off the bed rails. Besides I blew up the stand we had out there last year with tannerite so I felt obligated to build a new one anyhow. Found the plans for the bench online so it isn't an original design but I think it came out nice. Still need to sheet the stand with some cardboard and I may build a small lean to roof on it to keep some moisture off it so the cardboard will last a little longer between changes in the weather.

That's why when I ran across one sitting in the case at my dealers shop a while back I jumped all over it. In FDE too.....

I dropped in the group buy trigger in my 10 and discovered mine had this trigger in it. I then put this in my 300 build for an upgrade to that one. Its a nice factory trigger. I was kinda wondering what that extra spring and the adjustment notches were for thanks for the clarification.

I feel bad for these people honestly. In reality people out of touch with reality that lost loved ones in this incident were looking for someone to blame. Its only natural to look for that. And Im sure they had people in their ear blaming the dealers even though it wasn't their fault. I just hope the people that pushed and funded them to propose the lawsuit are forced to pay this and not the families.

I installed mine also and found the safety was a very tight fit in there. had to put it in without the pins in then insert pins and tighten everything down. Then I installed my factory Armalite trigger into my 300BLK. Definitely an improvement over the cheap LPK I had in there.

Why not just chamber a round as soon as you get to the stand/woods?

Im looking to free float my barrel finally. Been doing some upgrading here and there and I am finally gonna get rid of the ugly plastics. My question is what rails are comparable with the Armalite pattern? I know there is all kinds of different rail heights, which one matches the armalite pattern? Any suggestions on possible candidates?

Yeah if the TacCon wasn't so damn expensive Id definatelty have one in one of my guns. After watching the vid on it I was SOLD until I saw the price tag. Kind of ridiculous to me.
