What I was using to push it through the hole so i could keep the pin down with something else i need a new Allen key set lol missing the smallest one so had to improvise

This is how far i can get the pin in maybe thats how far it goes? I remember it went all the way down on my 15

I'll have to inspect that, just seems like the spring gets compressed all the way and that why it wont go in any more. Ill double check

It was way easier on my 15 everything went smooth, this one just wont compress down. I tried but then gave up becuase i started thinking of cerakote or some coat of some sort lol. I've been lucky to find the detent once or twice what i havent found is an old bolt catch pin lol

Are they the same length? I tried putting a r15 one i had laying around in my tm 308 lower but it seems to long the detent doesn't go all the way down to allow the pin to go in

Super sexy rifle. I'm confused by a simple question If I get a carbine length 308 tube i would use the car-10 buffer to reduce the recoil or just go with the regular 308 buffer as in i dont need the buffer. The car-10 is only needed if you use the ar15 tube correct?
