I have been off the site for a bit, I got into the 6.8, 6.5 and all that other good stuff. Well I need to get my 308 lined out as I have noticed it is way over gassed. I have the SASS barrel with the mid length gas system and the .936 gas block. I am running the troy alpha rail and need an adjustable gas block that works and will fit under my rail. Through searching I have found the SLR Sentry 9 and the JP JPGS-8H. I not sure if either will fit under the rail yet but which is the preferred gas block? Is there other options?

I have fun building different set up just so I have options. I hardly ever sell any of them. I do build for others but I make them buy the lower. I currently have 3 5.56 builds and 2 .308 builds. Guess I need at least one more .308 to even the table.

I went with the seekins button and ar10 release to be safe. Should get it back from cerakote this week and be ready to put together

Ok, I have the aero upper and lower along with a aero BCG, I did order the aero take down pins but did not get the bolt catch or mag release. So if I am understanding correctly I will need to get the AR10 bolt catch and mag release?

I just ordered The Aero lower to go with the Upper I have, I currently have a few AR builds under way. I tried the Aero upper on a DMPS and Bushmaster lower and the gap at the back was to much for me. I also noticed the takedown pins would not line up that good on either lower as well. I was going to return it but I have had a 13.8 Troy HP DMPS rail that I could not use until now. I was able to get the lower for 185 and I had a lot of spare parts left over from my DPMS sportical to SASS conversion. All I need is a LPK, BCG and forward assist to put together a complete 16" .308. Still not sure what I will do with it yet as I have a 16" Bushmaster 308.

So to ask a simple question, would the low profile troy rail would match up to the flat top receiver? I have a high profile troy rail that did not match my DPMS 308 but I just got a bushmaster 308 ORC and was going to throw it on.
