  1. I started my son shooting when he was 5. He started with a 22 rifle and a 22 pistol. Then he moved up to my 45. 1 round at first then 2 and worked his way up to a full magazine. And when I got a new gun we sat down and I showed it to him. We took it apart and put it back together. Then he wasn't courious about it any more. He is 20 now and is a better shot than me. I reckon I thought him too well.
  2. Welcome from port st john fl
  3. Broke out the calipiers out and compaired them to factory 308 and they are 7.62. Thanks for all the replys.
  4. Thanks for all the replays. I will have to get new batteries for my calipers and do some measurements
  5. I had planned on using factory ammo for break in. Thank y'all for the replying so fast.
  6. Yes but with 74 not 13
  7. I hope this is the right place for this question. I just picked up a M&P 10. A friend of mine gave me about 200 rounds of what he says is 7.62. It has a head stamp that reads. LC. 74 and a circle with a cross in it. It looks like a 7.62, but I want to make sure before I shoot them. I would hate to chamber a round that is the wrong caliber. Can some one give me an answer. Thanks.
  8. Hello all. Just moved to Port St John FL from NJ. Smarted move I ever did, getting out of that state. Just picked up a S&W M&P 10. Couldn't pass it up for the price. Hope to find a lot of good info on here. New to the 308 ar platform, but not the ar platform.
