  1. I’m thinking I should have went this route http://www.tieronearms.com/MEGA-MKM-p/mkmambi.htm more money sure, but im pretty sure i wouldn't have the fitment issues im having now. :binkybaby: <thumbsup>
  2. Yea I have a few of those here on my desk actually, heard a lot about them breaking apart & causing nightmare in peoples FCG. IMHO what im experiencing on my Aero .308 lower isn't a little.
  3. This is not my receiver set in this video, its another customers from ar15.com. Mine does this as well probably a little worse & Aero offered to swap his upper out. http://vid14.photobucket.com/albums/a313/brucegagneaux/20140721_220412_zps5087eb84.mp4
  4. Ok picked up my receiver set today, um..... not happy to be honest. A lot of slop in the upper/lower receiver, where they meet in the buffer tube area. You can easily slide a playing card in there & see more day light then I personally care to see. I called Aero & they told me to send pictures, just waiting now to hear back from them. I even put the pivot pin & take down pin in to see if this would alleviate some of the "slop" no dice. *sigh* <munch> Anyone else that has this Aero receiver set have this issue at all?
  5. Nice thanks, http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPTRE-5.58B.750 Ok this one it is then. <thumbsup>
  6. Robocop, have you shot any of the JP Comps/Brakes at all?
  7. As far as a silencer for my .308, probably not going to happen, cause in Maine we can't hunt with one & I’m not going to spend like $1500 to use it just at the range. I like this one a lot http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPTRE-5.58B.750 Would go very nicely on this barrel http://www.rainierarms.com/rainier-arms-selecttm-308-barrel-16-blk Whats your opinion on this http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPRE-324 ? Im trying to decide IF the JP Recoil Eliminator looks goofy or not lol. Appreciate your input Robocop <thumbsup>
  8. Thanks Robocop <thumbsup> Do you have any brakes you like best?
  9. I’m hoping it is, about to order them, to see if they will make a difference. <thumbsup>
  10. 1. Thanks for the reply on the ACS stock 2. Agreed on the Aero barrel, but i want the bolt & barrel headspaced by either Fulton or Rainier, that’s why I chose them. I didn't wanna spend an additional $75 on head space gauges. 3. Im seriously leaning towards that BCM gas block. 4. Actually i don't honestly have an answer for that lol, i watched a couple of videos on the Wilson Combat flash hider & i seem to like it. I do like the LANTAC Dragon Muzzle Brake but at its price it makes me like the Wilson Combat flash hider even more lol.
  11. That buffer tube/buffer & spring were recommended by people at snipers hide & from Clint at heavy buffers himself. Im probably going to get a regular low pro gas block from Bravo Company or maybe even the Geissele gas block.

Im pretty sure im going with this Wilson Combat Accu-Tac Flash Hider, .30 Caliber http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Accu-Tac-Flash-Hider-30-Caliber/productinfo/TR-ATFH-68/ 11. As far as glass, im probably gonna go with a SWFA of some sort, but that’s a discussion for another day lol. I’m going to shoot this at the range a lot & will surely use it for hunting season next year, so I don't want it to be to damn heavy lol. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Chris. <thumbsup>
  13. Awesome, thanks for the reply.
  14. Does it really matter IF i go with a normal gas block or an adjustable? I’m seriously thinking of going with a 16" mid-length gas barrel as im going to be using this build for hunting mostly. <dontknow>
  15. indeed nice place, some here call it "Booze Bay Harbor" LOL <laughs>
