  1. Very nice build! <thumbsup> :auto: Hard to see mag release in that picture though. :'(
  2. Just interested to see how far the mag release button sticks out, I want to compare it to the stock Aero version. Thanks.
  3. Can you post a pic of the AR10 mag catch with the Seekins button? I picked up a Armalite AR10 Magazine Catch & now all i gotta do is order a Seekins button. <thumbsup>
  4. Awesome unclemoak, thank you sir.
  5. Awesome! I would like to visit Texas one day myself.
  6. Anyone have any experience with these barrels/bolts? http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPSM308-16L10
  7. I finally heard back from Aero, sent them the 2 videos, they asked me to ship it back & they would either replace it or fix it. I guess this gives me time to think about what barrel/bolt combo i want to go with lol. <thumbsup>
  8. Ok, thanks guys. Still waiting for an e-mail back from the person I've been in contact with, probably out for the holiday.
  9. Here a picture from the inside, not sure why the 2nd video is not working.

  12. it moves freely, I'll post up some pictures tomorrow.
  13. Ok Aero sent me a new upper, it fits better. But... the ejection port door takes a lot of force to open & I have to use my pocket knife to push the detent down so it will close? All my AR15 ejection port doors open with minimal pressure at most & close with ease, is the .308 ejection port door suppose to be this tough to open & close? This is my 1st .308 AR build. <dontknow> :ifly:
  14. Very cool indeed! How do you like Texas? <thumbsup> <dontknow>
  15. This ? https://www.primaryarms.com/Troy_Ambidextrous_Magazine_Release_p/srel-amb-00bt-00.htm
  16. Enough to know whats bad & whats acceptable. :)
  17. *UPDATE* Aero says "There will be some amount of play between receiver sets but that does seem to be excessive." So they are shipping me out a pre-paid shipping label & will get me out a new receiver set. <thumbsup>
  18. When I got home from my FFL & did notice the issue, I called Aero and was told to send pictures which I promptly did. I even PMed them on their industry section of ar15.com, I haven’t heard anything as of yet. I agree with you on some slop & accuracy and all my other Aero products have been great.
  19. <thumbsup> I've e-mailed Aero, im sure they will take care of it. <thumbsup>
  20. washguy, I wish the play in my upper lower was that liitle, it wouldnt bother me. Thanks for the video.
  21. The fitment issues are easy to see & the unacceptable play in the fitment of the upper/lower receivers is poor to say the least. When one works with metal its rather easy to see this as unacceptable i guess, mediocrity is what most people find acceptable these days but i don't sorry. An accu-wedge is not a good fix to a quality control issue & something that could break apart and cause other issues down the road. :ifly:
