  1. Yep that's what I was thinking, thanks.
  2. I was also wondering if anyone pays any special attention to the gas tube and block?
  3. These are all great suggestions, I'm so confused
  4. The nylon would be easier on the chamber.....
  5. I was thinking something like this.
  6. Good morning gentlemen. I've been considering possible methods to clean my bore and chamber. I had questions about using a chamber brush. Will they harm my chamber are they necessary and if you use them which ones would you recommend?
  7. Now I need to start thinking about a scope I was considering the SWFA10x42 ss. Do anyone have any experience with strait power scopes?
  8. I've been considering starting a trust how's all that work if you don't mind me asking. Do I need to get a lawyer and all for that?
  9. Good to know, I plan on reloading in the near future. But I wanted to try the cheep $hit because of the fed issue first. No need to wreck my brass......
  10. Update on feeding problems. Well it took the rifle to the range today, had no feeding problems at all. It turns out that the loose gas key was the issue along with not enough Lube. It ran the rest of the zqi ammo that I have no problems along with anything else I fed it some Silver Bear and Brown Bear ammo, thank you gentlemen for all your help.
  11. I'm sure glad I caught that before I shot it anymore. That would have been bad if it came apart. From now on I think I'll double-check that kind of stuff. I guess that's what I get buying parts from off brand companies.
  12. Thanks gentleman I will update this thread after my next range trip.
  13. Looks like I have a lot of things to try on my next range trip. I've been using the spray REM oil, does anybody have any better suggestions? (1) retorque the gas key on BCG (2) check to see if the gas block is aligned correctly and measure gas port (3) different ammo (4) run it wet wet and yet even wetter (5) test if Bolt locks back when firing single-round What about lubing the JP silent captured spring?
  14. I am able to pull the bolt all the way back until it locks so I don't think it would be that receiver extension or the JP silent captured spring as an issue.
  15. Hey mine was doing that too! I removed the pmag and I release the bolt catch and problem was solved didn't pickup a round......lol But seriously a very nice gentleman at the range let me borrow his Lube then I soak the bastard and still had issues.
  16. Thanks jtallen I didn't even think about doing a Google search last night, I must a had a senior moment.
  17. Good to know, I was just inspecting the BCG and it seems like the gas key bolts are loose and not properly staked I'm wondering if that may be an issue. Does anybody know what the torque spec is on the gas key Bolts?
  18. Now the question is, are there steel Sr 25 magazines available that will work with the Matrix receivers?
  19. Thanks blue, better ammunition was the next step for accuracy testing.
  20. I Dremeled the bolt catch just enough to clear the upper receiver, during the test fit it was hitting the upper receiver. Had no problems with the modification during range day.
